Meet Melanie Moss, one of Providence House’s many graduates who continues to live a successful, self-sufficient life.
Watch Melanie’s story here. She has continued to grow and succeed since this video was produced in 2016.
Melanie’s story is far from over.
Melanie has continued to grow and succeed. She works at the Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse of Northwest Louisiana, also known as CADA. She has been an employee since 2015, after first being a client. In fact, she came to Providence House from CADA.
In 2019, Melanie became a homeowner! She also graduated the same year with an associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Bossier Parish Community College. Today, she is working toward a bachelor’s degree in Business at Northwestern State University.
Give For Good between now and May 3rd to help more homeless families with children.
Melanie’s family is thriving!
Melanie’s children are now 18, 16, and 7 and doing so well. Later this month, Melanie will marry “the most wonderful man” and her family will grow to include his two amazing daughters (ages 10 and 6). Life is good, really good.
Melanie tells people that Providence House is ground zero. It is where dreams become reality and goals become attainable.
The following scripture reminds Melanie that while life is often difficult, she is not alone in her journey. “We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
