The Johnsons

January 26, 2017 by Providence House Stories
5

The Johnsons were struggling, had no jobs and could not provide for their children Naylon and Jaya. They called Providence House because they had heard that it had a good program to help families.

They admit that they had a lot to learn. Providence House has helped them learn to budget, manage their money correctly, and get their priorities in the right order.

Both DeChristopher and Jessica say that graduation is actually the hardest part of being at Providence House because it has become home to them, and they have learned so much here.

Their case manager describes them as motivated, appreciative, and always wanting to accomplish more.

Jessica is currently employed full-time at Kentucky Fried Chicken and DeChristopher is employed full-time at Reinhart Food Service. Their goals include continuing to save money and becoming home owners one day.
