The Gaffney Family Room – Join Us for a Virtual Ribbon Cutting!

April 22, 2021 by Millie Flowers Stories

When you think of your living room at home, what comes to mind? Is it your comfy couch where you seek solace in the evenings and on weekends under a comfy throw? Your family gathered around for game night or movies with pizza? Or is it old comforts like stacks of vinyl and books?

At Providence House, our living room is a mutual space for all of our families to share. Children do homework, parents watch the news, take care of little ones and plan for the days ahead. Our family room provides a safe place for normalcy and for families to be with each other, much like your own.

Thanks to a generous donation, this tradition of spending quality time with the ones we love will continue here at Providence House. A long time donor and board member graciously donated $25,000 ($5,000/year) for updates to our family room. With their generous support, we have started renovations that include: new wallpaper, furniture, rugs, home decor, etc. We are so grateful for the Gaffney family and the quality family time that will continue in “The Gaffney Family Room.” We are grateful!

We will be honoring the Gaffney family on April 30, 2021 at 10:30am with a virtual ribbon cutting that will be streamed on the Providence House Facebook page via Facebook Live. We invite everyone to join the virtual celebration to thank and honor this incredible contribution to Providence House and it’s families.

If you or someone you know are interested in leaving a legacy at Providence House, please reach out to us for details on naming opportunities.
