From the Depths of Our Hearts

Thank you — from the depths of our hearts!

Your support means the world to families like the Rawlinsons.

Sanquisha Rawlinson lived at Providence House with her three adorable children. She is a soft-spoken, busy, extremely determined single mom.

Ms. Rawlinson works full-time as a substitute teacher at Riverside Elementary. She is also a college student, planning to graduate Summer 2023 and is studying for Praxis 1 and 2 to earn a K-5 Teaching License. She does not allow obstacles to hinder her from accomplishing the task at hand.

“We’re leaving now to go to our OWN home!”

As a resident, Sanquisha was voted Resident of the Month because of her upbeat attitude, encouraging words, and positive outlook. Staff and residents alike appreciated her constant smile.

The Rawlinson children have the same sweet spirit as their mom. The youngest attends the Child Development Center at Providence House. After picking him up at the end of the day, the family allowed us to snap the above photo. As they were leaving, one of the kids proudly announced, “We’re leaving now to go to our OWN home!” (It gave this writer chills and still makes my eyes leak a bit.)

Thank you, again, for your support!

We continue to be amazed at the generosity of our community and folks like you. Thank you for helping the families at Providence House. Whether it’s a prayer, a thought, a gift, or a box of supplies, we truly appreciate your support.
