Marketing & Volunteer Resource Coordinator

We are looking for a competent individual to support the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement with the planning, developing, and implementing of the agency’s marketing and social media campaigns. You must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The goal is to ensure that our organization retains a strong donor and volunteer database, has a presence within the community through all media platforms, and grows brand awareness to help us fulfill the mission of the agency.

• Daily entry of donor gifts in the database
• Prepare and mail donor correspondence in a timely manner
• Prepare mailing list based on established criteria and donor lists for publication
• Source and recruit volunteers through various techniques (databases, e-mail, social media, etc.)
• Social media and engagement management of all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, & Twitter)
• Produce schedules for volunteer activities
• Communicate frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied and well-placed
• Disseminate information for upcoming actions and events
• Keep detailed records of volunteers’ information and assignments
• Ensure the purpose of the organization and its actions is clearly communicated

• Some college or completed degree program required; in lieu of college experience at least 2 years work experience will be acceptable
• Experience in volunteering will be helpful
• Working knowledge of databases and MS Office suite
• Able to communicate effectively with diverse people
• Excellent organizational and team coordination abilities
• A pleasant, outgoing personality
