BENTELER Steel/Tube is hosting a four-person scramble Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, April 26, 2024, to benefit Providence House. The event will be held at The Golf Club at StoneBridge in North Bossier. This beautifully maintained 18-hole course boasts an environment where anyone can play.
BENTELER Steel/Tube, a long-time community advocate, has supported Providence House in numerous ways throughout the years. Denise Reynolds, Tournament Committee Chair and Executive Assistant at BENTELER, shares, “This tournament will do so much more than raise mission-critical funds. We are committed to spreading awareness about the effects of homelessness in our community. We see the amazing work that Providence House is doing for homeless families and will continue supporting its mission long-term.”
Verni Howard, Executive Director at Providence House, adds, “For 36 years now, we have focused on one single mission – breaking the homeless cycle one family at a time. Food, clothing, and shelter alone will not accomplish this goal. Education and workforce development lead every effort at Providence House. Support from corporate partners like BENTELER Steel/Tube helps make great things happen!”
Providence House, located in downtown Shreveport, offers services to homeless families with children and families at imminent risk of becoming homeless.
