Providence House Graduation is a culmination of months of guidance from our staff to the residents who come to our organization as homeless families who need a hand up to gain stability. Our graduation ceremonies, which are twice a year, are the final step our residents take toward independent living.
The Providence House Child Development Center is the only center for homeless children in the state of Louisiana. The Child Development Center makes it possible for our residents to work while their children are learning age-appropriate skills.
When Sean finally hit bottom due to drug abuse, he decided to get help for him and his son, Austin, at Providence House. Sean earned his GED through the Providence House Working-to-Learn program and is now enrolled at LSUS. Sean continues to make the future better and brighter for his family.
