Our volunteer program is very diverse with many exciting onsite and offsite opportunities for both individuals and groups. Serving meals, tutoring adults and children, assisting in the donations room, and working with clients in the Computer Learning Centers are just a few of the exciting onsite volunteer opportunities available at Providence House. In addition, Providence House offers more flexible areas of service, such as hosting donation drives or assisting with special events. As we work together to meet the needs of Shreveport/Bossier's homeless, one of Providence House's most valuable resources is our volunteers. Simply stated, committed volunteer partners, who become valued team members and an extension of our staff, are vital to our success. What a blessing to know we have friends in the community who are eager to partner with us to meet the needs of the homeless men, women and children we serve each day! We consider this a "God thing" - the way He impresses people's hearts to partner with our ministry, enabling us to do far beyond what we could have ever imagined!
